Chain Block Hoist

• Chain blocks also known as chain hoists, block and tackle and pulley block are equipment used to lift and lower a load or to pull a load
• A chain block is a geared mechanism which contains two wheels which the chain is wound around
• When the chain is pulled one side is wound around the wheels and begins to lift the object in question that is attached to the chain via a hook
