Introducing the EasyMix 2-in-1 Tumbling Composter from Hozelock, arriving to Genfitt this Spring!

The new tumbling composter from Hozelock allows gardeners to easily recycle their kitchen and garden waste, helping to prevent food waste being sent to landfill, whilst improving the quality of their soil. Quicker than most conventional composters, the EasyMix 2-in-1 Composter, which has a 100L capacity, produces compost in as little as six to eight weeks and thanks to its compact design, it is easy to store. The enclosed lockable lid helps to prevent any pests and unpleasant smells and the design enables users to roll the drum around the garden to distribute compost with ease. The reservoir under the tank also collects the compost juice and the inclusion of the innovative ‘Click & Spray’ hose applicator allows gardeners to use this liquid to feed plants. The EasyMix 2-in-1 Composter, which is available from February 2022, is manufactured using 85% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable.

  

 

How does it work?

1. Open the lid at the top and put all the waste into the Tumbling Composter. Close the door.
2. Turn the drum to mix the waste. This can be done as often as you like but spinning the drum once or twice a week will speed up the decomposition process.
3. Leave the full drum to sit for 6-8 weeks.
4. After 6-8 weeks, roll the drum to the area where you want to spread the compost.
5. The compost juice is collected at the bottom by the “Click & Spray” tank under the tumbler.
6. You can easily attach the Click & Spray tank to your garden hose where you can spray the nutrient-rich liquid over the soil to feed and enrich the soil.
7. Make sure to rinse the tank after each time you use it.
